For enjoying the many sightseeing and recreation opportunities in the area, rent a bicycle from our front desk and take a peaceful ride along the Sammamish River Trail, northwest around Lake Washington to connect with the Burke-Gilman Trail into Seattle, or southeast on the East Lake Sammamish Trail along the banks of Lake Sammamish to Issaquah. For the traveling golfer, world-class courses surround us throughout Redmond & Seattle’s eastside. Redmond Inn is just a couple of miles from Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington, where you can enjoy paddling, rent a motorboat, or take a lake cruise. In the winter, drive one half hour east to Snoqualmie Pass to take part in Seattle’s famed skiing tradition, and don’t miss the breathtaking views of Snoqualmie Falls on your way. You’ll find unique shopping and dining within walking distance at award-winning Redmond Town Center, or you can explore more variety at the new Whole Foods Market Plaza next door. Many of Washington’s celebrated wineries are just a short drive from the Redmond Inn, making them a great day trip destination. |
